Disable Cursor Past EOL

Hello,

I'm sure this isn't possible, but, is there a way to disable the ability of clicking with the mouse and setting the cursor to past the end-of-line? This is the only editor that I use that does this and it tends to drive me crazy.

If it can't be disabled, are there any tips on helping a person that isn't used to that behavior become accustomed to it?

Is the editor written of C\C++ and do you have the source code?
What is the editor?

Oh, sorry. I should have been more specific. I'm talking about the RAD Studio/C++ Builder code editor. It has an option to not put the cursor past end-of-file, but not end-of-line.
